Each home is individually priced including any site prep, upgrades, as well as any anticipated changes prior to signing a purchase agreement with us. This eliminates the possibility for pricing surprises during the course of construction.

Test of Time
Homeowners purchasing a new home expect their home to last the “Test of Time”. When compared to most consumer purchases, a home represents the largest investment most people will make during their lifetime. Unlike a toaster or a mower, a home is a type of purchase that is not returnable.
That's why a new home should have a written, insured, limited RWC Warranty. The RWC warranty is available only through Builders who have met the screening criteria established by the program and its underwriters. Because it is in writing, the Warranty specifies what will be done to correct warranted problems which may arise from the components used in constructing your home.
Brief Summary of the standard RWC 10 Year Warranty
The RWC Warranty identifies what is warranted, what is excluded and the duration of the Warranty. It is a limited warranty and certain exclusions apply.
In the first year, the Warranty covers certain defects in workmanship and materials. If the workmanship and/or the materials used in building your home do not meet specified quality standards as outlined in the Warranty, your Builder is responsible for correcting the deficiencies.
For the first two years, portions of the major systems in your home are warranted. These systems include wiring, ductwork and pipes. If they do not operate as specified in the Warranty book, your Builder is responsible for servicing them.
In addition to the above first and second year items, the Warranty includes ten-year protection on warranted structural elements in your home, as defined in your Warranty book. The Warranty identifies which parts of a home are warranted, and the criteria for establishing a structural defect.
Desert Sky Builders ™ is responsible for correcting warranted defects which do not meet Warranty Standards in the first two years as specified in the Warranty book. If Desert Sky Builders ™ is unable to meet our warranty obligations, RWC will directly assist you. RWC’s insurers are responsible for the structural warranty coverage in Years 3 through 10. Any request for warranty performance satisfied by RWC’s insurers is may be subject to a warranty service fee. These fees are outlined in the RWC Warranty book provided to every new homeowner.
Other Benefits
RWC has established an excellent resolution process in the event that an unresolved warranty issue arises. We assume both sides simply want warranty issues resolved. The root of most disputes is miscommunication. (Many communication problems can be avoided by following the Builder's guidelines explaining how callback services are to be initiated.) RWC specializes in communicating between the Builder and homeowner and have a well defined dispute settlement process for handling warranty issues. Another special benefit of the RWC Warranty is its automatic transferability to subsequent homeowners.
Perfect Guarantees
There are no perfect guarantees. What RWC offers is the next best thing: a written extended warranty on a new home. You will probably never need RWC’s services because the key to their success is tough membership screening. But if you do buy a new home with the RWC limited warranty, you can have the peace of mind knowing that your Builder, Desert Sky Builders ™, has made an extra effort to provide you with more than just a handshake or verbal commitment. As your Builder we provide a written commitment - a warranty on your new home lasting 10 years.
